With precision and dedication, the staff of a Museum of Natural History are preparing for a new exhibition. While the old collection is taken down, new arrangements of animals are being prepared. The film explores the modern relationship between humans and nature - how we try to connect with it, and yet, how we always seem to be becoming more and more disconnected.
